I did the fuse pull on my LS3 last night when I got to work. I let it sit for 10 hours before driving home, the long way. I definitely felt a difference. Placebo effect or not, It was the grin plastered on my face that counted!

Do you guys get tire spin from a dead stop, without reviving first? That would be sitting at idle, release clutch and smash gas? This would be with TC off, Stability off and non-Comp Mode... so every off bascially.

Easily, at least in competition mode. I've never (yet) turned it all off and mashed the gas.

I'm trying to see if I need to try the fuse pull or not. I can't usually get wheel spin from idle, I have rev the engine first. I will try in Comp Mode but I thought Comp Mode limited wheel spin.

I'm guessing since I have a tune there is no need to do a fuse pull, right?

Well, I didn't say the tires kept spinning. You're right: Competition Mode limits that. It's enough to start moving sideways, though.

I did the fuse pull thing and it seemed to help, but then the car 'reverted' after only a few days. A couple of weeks later, the car woke up again without the fuse pull. My conclusion is that the computer is really sensitive to octane (or crap in the gas). No scientific evidence though, just a gut feel.

Thanks that helps because I don't go sideways with tire spin. I just take off without spin. I'm going to try to fuse pull.

We disconnected the battery the other day while installing the headers, exhaust and CAI. The car went in with 480 miles on it. we also changed the oil. I can't believe the difference. It totally woke the car up!!! Needless to say I'm very impressed. I would guess disconneting the battery reset the computer. Tomorrow morning I'm taking it to the dyno for a custom tune. Can't wait to see the results.

I pulled the fuses on my LS3 last night when I took it out this morning I pulled a hole shot. I could not believe it the front wheels came off the ground I pulled a wheelie for 15 feet shifted second and..... Just kidding car idled and ran the same and my fuel mileage was unchanged. My car has always run great but I had to try it.
