New cam build...

So decided to go with another cam... again. Decided to contact Pat G this time around to get a custom spec'd cam that I'll be happy with down the road (plan on doing LSA swap in the next year or so). Currently have the cam being ground by TSP on their 8320 cores. Spec's for the cam are 233/244 .649"/.615" 111+2LSA. Cam looks very similar to the new TSP stage 4 cam with a tad less duration on both intake and exhaust.

Looking to also swap to 3.91 gears, though I am also looking at the possibility of going with a ZL1 differential for strength. Current mods on the car are 1 7/8” Kooks LTH with HFC (though currently looking for the off-road connection pipes), Solo Performance Mach XL Catback, CAI intake, V-max TB, plus a Howards ASA Cam (226/236 .525”/.525” 110LSA). I will also be putting in the CHE trunion kit upgrade.

Also having Pat G tune the car, so hopefully this thing will run like a beast!

did ya ever get her to the track? PatG is the faschizzle...mine was ground by cam motion on a 8620...shhh on the specs lulz....good luck!

btw - since yer goin this far how come you didn't send the heads out for a cnc? because of the future LSA? just wonderin....l8tr

Yea I ran a 13.0 on a 2.0 60ft. Pirellis were pretty bald and didn't help too much... Upgraded to 315 Nitto N555G2s. And I'm thinking about getting gmpp heads when it comes time to do the LSA. Might get them cnc ported, but I need the gear more than the heads right now

cool - just went with a Pat G cam on a TSP 8620 core to go with my YSi... 10-12lbs...
