No sir. It would hold it if I did not leave the gap.It would just create a place for rust It is supposed to be installed like I did. That way rain or washing the car will clean it out . Same as if it was not even there.

Manufacturer said it should be that way. I called to verify

I finally removed the "clear bra" the previous owner installed with their eyes closed. Next will be to replace it in a few days

Got the car ready for warm top down driving. Wash the car, decontaminated with iornX, flayed it. Did a full two stage paint correction using lc pads, pinnacle advanced compound. Optimum hyper polish. Topped it with fusso coat, then four coats of pinnacle souverän wax. Cleaned and protected the top with 303 cleaner and fabric protectant. Used soft 99 black black on the tires. Full engine detail. Cleaned and detailed the well wheels, and complete undercarriage. Changed the differential fluid. Did a coolant change. Oil change with pennzoil platinum ultra. The last photo is the pant condition before correction.

Going to Summit Racing this morning to pick up some mods I’d like to get done this weekend. I’m looking at the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs, K&N Blackhawk Air Intake Kit, BMR Strut Tower Brace, and I need to find some black slotted and dimpled rotors (hard to find a set). If anyone has suggestions on an cold air intake let me know. I’m not monogamous with K&N, I just know I like the sound and quality of it, haven’t tried another so......

Picked my car up from dealer, lubed and adjusted the top. Found out it should be done every 2 yrs and mine is 5 yrs old, never done

Had to get it towed. Got a screw in the rear tire last Monday. Been sitting since, haven't had time to mess with it cause I had to go out of town for a funeral. This morning it was almost flat.
