My luck lately #2
So, was messing around at a friends house, was wiping down the engine bay, had my friend turn the car over, and I see that the harmonic balancer is now vibrating pretty bad. Seeing how my luck with this car has honestly been bad, what's the worst case scenario?

Is it the stock balancer? I’ve read on here that they are known to break..
I changed mine to an ATI balancer. |

Yeah it's the stock balancer. We had a talk here recently. She got put in the garage. I went down to the store got a six pack, came back and I told her(Nina is the name of my car) as I was opening the first one, you keep acting up and heads, cam is Gonna half to wait. Thankfully I took it in and got told that it's not a abnormal amount of wobble or vibration. It was a good amount but not good enough I guess to warrant a replacement. So, I Put that on the to do list. New balancer when I tear it down.

lol...had many of the same conversations over the years after sum liquid lubrication! problem I had was the lubrication was a slippery slope....enough of that!
I too am in the initial stages of getting the components together for a cam...and tryin to decide if a replacement balancer should be added. anybody have experience with PowerBond balancers? look like a nice intermediate upgrade for a N/A motor. peace!

Powerbond and ATI are always at the top of the harmonic balancer list, but for the LS3 my engine builder recommends the Fluidampr.
