Gen 5 DIY Harness for RS Headlights
Needing a little help and clarification on which harness to buy, #1 or #2 from GEn 5 DIY. I have purchased used GM OEM RS Halo headlights to install into my 2011 Camaro 1SS that originally comes with the halogen headlights. I am not wanting to use the foglights as DRLs. I would like to have just the Halos be the DRL's or have them off completely during the day. Then when needed I can turn just the Halo's on or have the combination of the Halos and the HIDs for night driving. Wanted to ask you guys before I purchased the wrong harness and save myself some headaches. As always any help is appreciated

Your best bet is probably to contact the Gen5DIY folks directly.
Been thinking of going the used RS headlights route myself and get the Gen5DIY harnesses so am interested in your project and how it turns out. |

+1 for reaching out to Gen5 and asking them directly. I ordered the RS Foglight kit for my Z/28 the other day and had a quick question. Jarod responded shortly after which was much quicker than I was expecting.

Yeah shortly after creating this thread I figured I could just email them and ask. Although I do like hearing past experiences on what people have bought and how their projects have gone.

Agree with others, the Gen 5 DIY folks should be able to answer all your questions & provide the best solution.
