Modding for the first time
Hey whats up guys I made a post here about a month ago inquiring about mods for my 2011 L99 SS. Its still stock for at the moment and but I'm just shopping around and by the end of the summer I'll buy everything and just add it on at the same time. So far I'll be getting TSP Lt headers, a CAI system, Magnaflow (no cats) exhaust, and have it tuned. How my HP do you think I'll gain from this guys?

The exhaust isn't going to gain much power so the gains would just be coming from the headers and the intake. Generally we see 12-15 rwhp from an intake. The long tubes will generally get you 30-35rwhp with a good tune some times even a bit more. When you're ready to go shopping hit us up. We have killer deals on everything you're looking for.

I got about 35hp with shorty headers, high flow cats and similar mods. you should see a few more from the long tubes. I got 402 at the wheels. Dyno's will vary, so you should be low 400's

Thats a decent start, I will have a nice sound and feel a little difference when I hit the gas lol. My ultimate goal is around 550-600HP but that'll be next year.

If you want to see those results start saving for forced induction.

Not going to hit 500+ without forced induction...and if you did, it would be with a super aggressive cam that you probably wouldn't enjoy driving on the street. I'd stick with the bolt-ons you have now and save for a supercharger. Unlimited potential with these LS engines though! have fun! |
