2011 SS Camaro - Speakers go out

In advance, thanks for any help or feedback you can provide. If you have either of these issues, feel free to post below so maybe we can figure it out. I have a 2011 SS and I haven't done any audio upgrades or changes to the car at all.

Issue 1: When I close my center console, sometimes my speakers on the driver side go out. If I open and close the center console (basically slam it) they will come back on. Is there something in the center console I should try to check for as to why this is happening? Maybe a loose connection?

Issue 2: I also have an issue with phone calls where my Bluetooth will disconnect my GMusicConnect (music) if I am on the phone for longer than a few minutes (on average 5-10 minutes). Is there an update I need to do for the Camaro and if so, how do I go about getting the update? I have had multiple iPhones to test this issue, and it seems to keep happening with each one.

Any advice in the right directions for either of these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

sounds like your using AUX input. Pull the butt cover off the back of the console and make sure the plugs are nice and tight.

Nope. the GM pdim sucks. thats why they did away with it in 2013. built into radio.
