I should have gone with the Borla or Corsa, regretting the Flowmaster...

I looked into the corsa and I'm really liking the sound of it. It's such a tough choice!

Also if anybody has these two systems how much longer is it than stock? Thanks in advance everyone!
Our American Thunder Axle-back system (part# 817746) will give your SS a nice deep, bassy exhaust note when cruising and will "open" up at W.O.T. This system incorporates your stock exhaust valve actuators so you do not lose your NPP. Built from 3.00" mandrel bent 409S stainless steel and has a lifetime, limited warranty.

As for length compared to the stock system, I do not have that measurement. The system utilizes the stock exhaust hanger locations and is specifically designed to nestle within the stock rear valance cutouts so size should be similar to it's OEM equivalent.

If you have additional questions about any of our intake and exhaust components for your ride feel free to PM me or call us at 707-544-4761.

I just put on a MBRP axle back system this weekend. I was hesitant as well because the videos don't make it sounds deep - boy was I pleasantly surprised. It is loud and deep, perfect sound for >$500.

Almost all systems are over $500.

I put the MBRP axle-back on my '17SS 2 weeks ago and it is a lot louder than I thought it would be.

Check out RDP store, they offer a 10% discount and the least expensive MBRP system with that code comes out to ~$450.

I'm just pointing out you used the wrong "<>."

Sounds badass doesn’t drone and you will never have to hear the shitty rattle again lol.

I paired my Corsa with a Borla 60606 midpipe and it fit together beautifully Zero regrets!

Good luck
I have an mbrp axle back. You think the borla mid pipes will fit? Which ones did you get?

Spend the extra money on a system that is designed to eliminate drone. I really wish I had gone a that route. I have the Hooker Blackheart axle back with mufflers and the interior drone just below 2000rpm under medium throttle application is just as loud as full throttle at redline.

Agreed on the Blackhearts drone, but it is worth it. The Blackhearts sound so good! I have the Cat-back and about to get headers put on as well. I will definitely have some custom J-Pipes fabbed when I get my headers done.

I had the MBRP system but it definitely drones more than people say. I also had some fitment and quality issues with it.
Switched to Borla S-Type this past weekend and it sounds so much better inside the car and fairly similar outside with a bit less rasp
