They're not as bad, yet. Time will tell.

I imagine it will be an expensive trip to the dealer one day when the warranty is up and this warning light comes on..

This said a Gen 6 SS Summit White Camaro passed by me the other day. It's my cars replacement twin of sorts. And I liked it..... go figure?
You can find a "corporate" look through out Camaro history . Mostly in the 1972 Camaro Z28 , Google 1972 Chevy Vega GT and let me know if it looks like the Z28 . Yes that little Vega had a 350 motor.

This is a toaster. Any questions?
Yes, what's the issue with the Blazer being similar in appearance to the 6th generation Camaro? I feel the General did a great job, except for it being FWD. I like that it looks like a Camaro, just not my 5th generation of Camaro.

I have always said that the 6th gen front is Camry like and that don't bother me in any way . There is no car that is that far off from another . Look at then gen 5 Camaro , nothing original looking there , looks similar to a 1969 Camaro , just really puffed up .
So you're attempting to make a case now, that it's alright for the 6th generation to look like a Camry, because the 5th generation looks like a '69. You've jumped the shark.

Which is the reason, as much as I love them, that I've long held off from getting a pre-owned Vette. The cost of purchasing it is one thing, but the cost of maintaining it is another.

Not exactly , the 6th Gen has a similar shape grille and stops there . The 5th gen has the look of the 69 all over ,front to rear ,right down to the those rock catching gills , just puffed up . Like a cartoon version of the 69 .

I'm calling a spade, you claim not to bash the 5th generation, but you sacrificed appearance for performance & you're attempting to convince everyone that you made the right choice, so that you can convince yourself.
Your effort is pointless, but proceed as you wish. I'm done.

Unless you`re thinking V8 conversion kit`s Vega`s never had a V8 option, there was at one time a prototype Vega program fitted with an all-aluminum 283 cu in but it never went into production.

No, you're thinking of the Chevy Monza for '75. They were based on the Vega platform and came with the 350 V8 in CA and high altitude areas only. The only year it had the 350.

Do you have a fear of other people not caring about your agenda? Like some that don't care at all for the 6th Gen or that gender neutral Blazer thing.

It's irrelevant anyway, because he's attempting to make a point that the Vega and/or Monza being similar in appearance to the Camaro, makes it acceptable for the 6th generation to appear similar to the Camry - a comparison which he made.
The more we feed the troll, the more he'll continue with his failed assessments.

Or alternator, plug wire/or plug, injector, and it has been the elsd itself in some cases. There have been many different fixes, and usually not figured out on the first try. Since everything electronic is tied to one another, it wrecks havoc when trying to diagnose. So while the actual fix can be simple, yes it will be an expensive road to get there outside of warranty.

I don`t know about the troll part but he probably should spend more time updating his "View My Garage" than making comparison of different looks.
