The front of the Vega looked a lot like the Camaro all through its production run. When the Camaro got the scouped out headlight buckets and slanted grill for '74, the Vega got the same thing.

Ask this guy .
Just because they didn't put the gas door in the same place as the last gen don't make it misplaced , i would rather have it behind the license plate and unseen . The quarter windows on the 5th and 6th are useless and they should have gone 2nd gen and got rid of them and open up the rear window wider . If you ever get a chance to see the hood of a 6th Gen 1LE up close the crease look as you call it looks much better because it shows more contrast , those creases flow from the rear bumper over the roof, down the hood and follows down the front grille and bumper to splitter . I call it a jigsaw effect , its a great thing for those that are into details .

Looks are 100% subjective. Put looks and opinions aside. The 6th gens are superior in every measurable way with the exception of price. Which is why I'm perfectly happy with my 5th gen.. Lol

Yea and it's only going to get worse if the rumors come to fruition on the mid-engine with DOHC twin-turbo, DCT, etc

I with you on that one. I had every intention of buying a 2018 until I started pricing them, then I decided that my 2010 was looking pretty good again. I`m not sure why people are so down on the 6Th Gen I like them it`s just the price that`s putting me off from buying one.

Yeah it is obvious AL O and his team didn't care if people planed on filling the family Camaro with 5 people for a two week camping trip, and wasn't able to see out of it .

I also agree the gas door looks out of place.. I'm pretty sure you would agree it would look better if they would have kept it in the same area as 5th gen .. and I thought it was sad that they got rid of the gills. they were a nice Touch of retro.. other than that I think the 6th looks really sleek and sporty looking ..the back end is not bad looking ..but still not quite nice looking as the 5th gen Camaro or even the S550 Mustang and ther Taillights .. and also there might be a lot of Creature Comforts that they added to the interior but the interior was still more comfortable and cooler looking in the 5th gen and had a retro feel to it that resembled the original first gen Camaro. I rather have 4 pack gauges then big AC vents but I do still appreciate and like the 6th gen Camaros.. when I went to buy one I just felt more comfortable in the 5th gen and like that it was more masculine looking.. and had more retro Camaro features. And quite a bit cheaper.

Exactly. A Camaro is impractical by its very nature. Having said that.. the stuff I've managed to cram into my trunk and back seat is incredible
