Stop it already.
Obsessing over the practicality of one generation vs the next is grasping at straws. It's like arguing over which Kardashian is smartest. All Chevrolet did was go from a car that is almost completely impractical (Gen 5) to one that is, in fact, completely impractical (Gen 6). And the consolation for losing the almost imperceptible amount of practicality the Gen 5 had is a massive improvement in vehicle dynamics in the Gen 6. |

How would
This work for a gen7? 5th gen looks, size and dimensions with gen6 performance and refinement or better. Could everyone be happy then? |

I like both cars when it comes right down to it, and I honestly dont think anyone can go wrong with either unless they really do need more room. |

I like both, but prefer the looks of my 5th Gen. I almost pulled the trigger on an '18 2SS 1LE but they didn't want to work with me on price. I will agree that the rear seat area on the 6th Gen is way worse though, and I actually use the rear seats on my '13. I sometimes take my daughter and one of her friends to places with my wife and they fit well back there. All of them are under 5'5" however.

I have been sideways in my 6gen on the track and mine never went off. I have a buddy that had a ZL1 at Texas World Speedway a few years ago had his go off when he slid in the infield coming in to hot from the long straight. Ruined his weekend, he has a stingray now. hehe
