Ahhhh... that is the question isn't it?

Should I keep my 5th gen, swap to a 6th gen, add a 6th gen, or wait for the 7th gen?

Well, from my perspective.... So I rented a beautiful-green-type colored 2018 Camaro SS A10 this week and let me tell you, it is impressive... at 3k miles, smooth accelleration... stock exhaust but rumbles nice. Smooth suspension, feels solid. It doesn't feel like a muscle car tho, no matter how hard I put the hammer down....

The feeling I get with my Camaro is unlike anything I've driven before, to this day. The Flowmaster exhaust rumbling, the quick-shifting of the gears, smooth as butter - perfect sound all the way to redline... just outstanding after owning it for years. Its a looker too... I don't wanna brag, but lets just say people see and feel my presence on the freeway, on the street, at the gas station lol.... ah, these 5th gens are timeless, awesome rides. Unless its a ZL1/1LE, I don't see the 6th gen ever turning heads like that.

The 6th gen is nice... but I come home to a 5th gen!

The 2018 SS don't come with an A10 transmission , but thats ok never let the facts get in the way of a good story . The 6th Gen is as far from muscle car as you can get , my 2014 SS 1LE wasn't close to a muscle car .

Really? Well my bad then... that thing shifted so quick through the gears just getting up to 50, you could easily think that if you don't know that much about the specs on the 6th gen...

Despite all that tho, still, I've driven quite a few 6th gens... and, well... sorry bud, but the rest still stands...

Eta, ah, I meant A8... again, my mistake.

Depending on what mode you were in the shift points change, i didn't like the A8 version at all but i drove one to get the feel of the mag suspension . The Zl1 has the A10 and it will be available on the 2019 SS .

Its an awesome ride for sure regardless. Smaller and definitely lighter, you don't feel like you're swinging that big ass around tight turns... something I did appreciate about it...

This one was a bit squirly on straight aways, or maybe I'm just used to my tight hotchkis suspension, then again - it WAS a rental... the rims were atrociously curb rashed....... just imo...

Its STILL a much better, and much more fun car than most out there for sure...

Is this statement fact? Of course not......don't let your opinion ruin a good story.

The way your car sits it almost looks like its squatted down in the rear , like it wants to pull straight just sitting there. I would think you did feel something with the Gen6 you didn't like . If you ever get a chance to drive a 6th Gen 1LE i would bet that would get your attention , and play around with the driving modes.

Your opinion vs others opinion is not fact. When somebody gives an opinion I don't think they need a rebuttle from you based on your mindset as your opinion being factual.

The only difference in height between my front and rear seems to be just the thickness of the 315's vs. the 275's up front;

I see your point tho... the above car feels like its riding on rails... if the mag suspension is making micro adjustments in some way that I'm not used to, it could have been what I felt 'off'...

My opinion is my opinion , fact is the 2018 SS don’t have the A10 . You are just trying to hard to say nothing.

Is it lowered though? It has a great stance . Always nice to see wheel wells filled.
