Toyo R888R?
Anyone run em? I loved the R888 in the past.
Been eyeballing a more "streetable" option than my current Toyo RR slicks. I sold my open trailer to help buy a house in a pinch, so while I'm saving my clams for an enclosed trailer to pull behind the Cummins I'm looking to drive on the race rubber to the local track and don't want to get caught out in the rain. Do NOT want a tire trailer.

Yep, good racing tire. Drove here to Fest on them. Racing at NCM with them. Raced at ECR in Decatur with them — drove to the track, raced, drove home. I have 2 sets.
In a real heavy rain, they are like skates - need to drive carefully. Outside of that, I like them... tire pressure for street driving I set to 28-29 lbs, they warm up quick. Road trips, 30... track - hot no more than 34. I start out between 27-29 depending on temps... -Don

Hey thanks for the feedback. I settle out at about 32-33 hot on my RR's.
