My daughter and I picked it up yesterday Oct 8, and I had to hurry home before the rains set in. However, I did get the opportunity to take it on the open freeway for about an hour. I kicked it in the rear a several times to begin the break-in process. Oh Yeah! This is going to be a fun!

Its been raining all day today. So, as you can see by the photos, its safe and dry on the garage. My plan is to do a couple of cosmetics things first, i.e., painted rally stripes next week and chrome wheels the day after. The car will be stored in my heated garage for the winter. I have many decisions to make on engine mods for next spring. There is new "stuff" coming our every week for these cars, so I have a lot of time to carefully study the options.

Sure, I got a little frantic the final week or so, but overall the wait wasn't too bad. In fact, I was very fortunate; I ordered my Camaro on Sept 1st and my allocation became available on Sept 3rd. It took only 5 weeks to the day from order to delivery...great job Oshawa. The people at the plant and GM did a fantastic job on this car..its rock solid and flawless.

Life is good here in Michigan.

Not bad; I ordered it on Sept 1st and my allocation became available on Sept 3rd. So that was 5 weeks from order to delivery...great job Oshawa. Those people and GM did a fantastic job on this car..its rock solid and flawless.

Per the SkyNet controlled CSX cyborg, mine (and presumably n-shane's) made it to Battle Creek, MI this morning at 6AM. Gosh it's really nice to have a chance to brush up on my geography. I am stoked to hear that she is moving my way.
