That sucks.

Was she in her 70’s? It seems I see one old lady a week go through a red light here.

Looks like my Camaro last year, but mine was a moron that ran into the left side while I was parked.

New door, quarter panel pieced in, deck lid apparently took a hit when the quarter moved over and was replaced. Rear bumper. Rear window had to be R&R for the quarter panel.

Took a month to fix. Turned out nearly perfect though. I think only I can tell the deck lid is offset about a millionth of an inch. Other than that it looks great. Car drives as well as ever. No squeaks or rattles. Paint is perfect.

So you've got that going for you.

Do you have a preferred shop?

Make sure you get a rental that is at least the same value as a Camaro. A malibu or some mid-size, not a shiteconobox.

Stupid California Cancer 'Right Turn On Red' shit spread over the country. Stupidest driving law ever. So many people only look for cross traffic, as if they have never been in a left turn lane and noticed they get the signal before the through traffic.

My brother, a professional truck driver for >30 years, when I made those remarks to him replied that the left turners should stay in the left lane so the rightonreds can stay in the right. I told him that would be okay if we all were circling, but the chances of me making a right after a left are astonomical compared to me turning left after a left. He looked at me as if some revelation hit him.

I'm okay. Mad about the car. Took me a while to find a one owner, decent milage, clean Carfax car. Hoping the thing isn't twisted underneath and can be fixed. I'll be happy with that. The wheel is about 2" off center and about 10-15 degrees of camber. Looking in the trunk there is nothing visible other than when I opened it I could see the fabric liner had a slight arch to it on that side. Wheel is ruined too.

She hit me so hard it put me in a spin and I had to fight to keep from heading into oncoming traffic.

Damn.

Of all the places on our cars to get hit...I am very sorry to see that man.

Not sure if it's the angle of the picture, but looks like you have some serious negative camber now too.

Camber is huge and the wheel is off center to the wheel well about 2"

Wow, really sorry to see that happen to you. That's probably the worst area for our cars to be hit. Probably looking at quarter panel replacement, I believe the trailing arms were designed to bend to protect the unibody and subframe. Hope you get it all sorted, makes me afraid to take my car out.
