I had the same truck in a 2010 and a 2015 both Chevys. When I bought the 2015 Chevy I didn't really look for a GMC. Figured I would not find one the way I wanted but I liked the looks of the GMC a little more.
Honestly, I prefer the looks of the GMC. Something about that grille. GMC wheels are better as well. This will sound stupid... I almost don't want to type it. The Chevy has blue interior lighting and the GMC has red interior lighting. I like the red. That is so little that I would have gladly taken a Chevy. This time I figured if I am going to spend $40,000 I will get the exact truck I want. I got the 2018 over the 2019 because I HATE the looks of the new truck. I mean I HATE it.

I'm thinking I might just go with a simple 2/4 drop rather then a 5/6. Drivability and towing will be much nicer with a subtle drop.

Got the truck home yesterday after a quick 14 hour trip to pick it up. Hand a wonderful rain storm or down poor to make the drive home more enjoyable. Was so much fun the wife wants new tires for her car.
Got a few things done yesterday. The stripes were added when I got home. Then I removed the badges on the tail gate, and the 4x4 on the fenders. K&N, Bedcover and a bed rug. Windows should be tinted in the next day or so. My guy couldn't get me in yesterday.

I love the way even this K&N filter setup mirrors the intake system on the Z/28 but on the left side of the bay rather than the right! It's like it was always meant to be a match!!
The fender stripes look awesome I can't wait to see the Zee hooked up to the back of it!! |
