The Beatles
The Beatles have re-released 13 albums, which have been re-mastered and the sound is awesome. To those who missed what beatlemania was all about, go out and get a cd or two, you will be glad you did. I personally like them all but if I was to suggest one to somebody it would be Revolver, that album came after rubber soul ( which was made after dylan turned them on to home rolled cigarettes)

Got the box set and they are awesome indeed. My mother surprised me with them for a birthday gift,she knows I'm a diehard fan. she got them from the link below and recieved them 2 weeks ago.

i don't have the new ones. i have Rubber Soul, Sgt Peppers, and Magical Mystery Tour. they were a great band, but the baby boommers think they started rock and roll, which they did not.

Be sure to try out The Beatles Rock Band, if you like that sort of thing. The graphix are stunning, and the sound quality is amazing.

Overated???? Reality check!!!! They are the standard, that all other groups are measured up to. You may not like hearing that, but according to the music world, artists, not just fans, that is the prevailing opinion. Around the turn of the century, a TV documentary was done (ABC News, I believe). The question posed to musicians of every music genre you can think of, was simply this.....Were the Beatles as good as they were made out to be? The most respected artists from every genre answered unaminously......NO, they were actually better than we thought they were at the time. Their music is copied by more artists than any popular music ever. From classical to rock, to country, to well, you get the idea. To not appreciate what they did to the music scene is to be totally incapable of appreciating talent and great music. This is not my opinion, but the opinions of great artists worldwide.

I don't think there is a way that they can be under rated. They're practically worshipped as a band.
To me there's three Big Bangs in Rock n' Roll. Elvis, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin. |
