Yeah, I will probably be out there...unless it is raining. I can at least navigate the puddles.

Pretty decent showing last nite--all things considered! I think we had 9 of us there at the peak. Of course, there were more 2010 Camaros there than any other type of car. The rain earlier in the day and the cooler temperatures must have scared some folks off, but it was dry and clear and not too cold. And Biff's didn't even put up the ropes or charge for parking (freebie!).

We had a good group and I enjoyed meeting Eddie and Kyle and some other new folks.

BTW...I did the 5/20 fuse pull and scared myself on the way to Biff's pulled two separate burnouts and ran close to 100 feet with each one before I lost my nerve and let off the gas! Between the fuse pull and the 60 degree temps, the beast is alive!

Wow, what a difference...I need to sign up for a driving school now so I don't do something stupid!

Oh, and Brandon...hang in there...we'll get a good group pic soon. Let's hold out for at least 15 cars together. Just need someone to bring a good camera and enough room like we had last nite.

Hope to see ya'll next week. Has anyone done the Saturday night at Houlihan's thing yet?

Good to meet you to Pete!

Did the fuse pull and put it into sport mode this morning...talk about moment of silence for everyone around me! "The beast is alive" is DEFINITELY and understatement. I might be out of town next Friday, but if not, I know where I will be.

Ya, I've been thinking the same thing. Theres a Hollihans by my house but over there isn't it Hooligans? Is this still on? I believe it was WINKSCAMARO that was going to set this up...

Houlihan's (not Hooligan's).

Turns out he is a HUGE Gen5 fan and asked if the SA Camaro owners would be interested in using the parking lot at Houlihans as one of our Friday night hangouts. He would love to host us and the more the merrier he said. He would even offer free appetizers to the Gen5 owners. :-)

They have a huge parking lot with lots of lighting and a row of parking right outside their outdoor patio where we could all park and be within feet of our cars. If we told him when we are coming he would reserve all those spaces for us. We can't bring alcohol into the restaurant but we can sit out there and drink our own if we want. And we can take drinks OUT of Houlihans to the parking lot. They are open until 2am and their insurance covers the whole parking lot so the cops wouldn't make us leave (not that they do at Biff's)

He's really excited to get us there and thinks it would generate a lot of business for him.

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that we have another potential hangout. We were talking about maybe our first meeting to be on Saturday, October 31st (Halloween) or earlier.

If you guys are interested in setting something up let me know and I will call Joe the manager and get it all arranged.
Here is the original post from WINKSCAMARO. Looks like Houlihan's (not Hooligan's). I remembered it because I recall thinking at the time..."Hey, that's pretty close to where I live--I might be able to pull off doing a Camaro thing twice a week (once in awhile)!"

If Houlihan's starts up, I'll definitely try to show up.

Cheers,

Glad to hear it worked for you, too! The car is a kinda scary now, eh?

In a good way...

Any local LS3 drivers try it yet?

Hey Pete, I tried it awhile ago and it didn't make a power difference on my LS3. However, I didn't have any power complaints before I did it, I was trying to see if it would make a difference in the shifting as I had read that it helped out with some other manual Camaros. Turns out I just sucked at shifting this thing smooth as it is much better now with lots of practice getting used to the clutch.

I'm also open to giving Houlihan's a try on a Friday or Saturday.

Also, I met up with Barricade 643 yesterday afternoon and took some pictures with him up off of 306. I posted them under a new thread called "Bumblebee & Barricade 643 pictures". It is one bad looking Mustang, he really did a great job on it. We even attracted one of Julie's deputy friends when we were taking the pictures - turned out to be a real nice guy. He is a Vette owner so I told him he needed to get down to Biffs.
