honeybucket - hang in there. Hopefully things will pick up and it will get moving. It seems like the stops are each day based on what I have seen. I know that once mine gets to Ohio it is still like three days from there, as it makes stops in PA and MD before getting to the unload spot.

Can't wait for mine to leave toronto and get to detroit. I am hoping it gets to MD end of this week and then to me somewhere around the 20th. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We drove to the dealer this Sunday morning on the fear that maybe it came in on Saturday and they were using it as a demo. But, a car hauler was there and they were offloading a truck. So we went in the back and there was her car! The guy said he just backed it off the truck.

Needless to say, she's all grins.

I just called and my car is in Armourdale, Kansas and is scheduled to be in OKC this Tuesday, 10/13, at 6:30pm. I hope to have mine before the weekend!

Okie - that is awesome that you will get both of them so close together. I think that is why I went with the factory stripes, because once I get it I won't want to let it go for any amount of time. I was thinking about the tint process and thinking that is going to take to long.

Awesome! Grats to both of you!!!!! i will pick mine up on a friday-- and I will put it in the shop- 1 day to put stripes on and have ABL all the way across the dash and etc.... but if I don't do it that monday.... I fear it will never get done! LOL

Alta Mere tinting in OKC "claims" they'll tint your car in about an hour, while you wait. So, I figure we can handle that wait.

My wife got the factor stripes, so she's set. But, I "thought" I wanted to do something just a little more custom. I'll probably get the same look as factory, but I wanted "glossy" black stripes, not flat black. Plus, I wanted some lettering (like SS 6.2) on the raised edge of the hood cowling.

But the paint shop said two or three days. Plus, they may charge extra as often as I'll be in their shop checking on her progress.

wow, mine is really moving now and has entered california
and left Iris CA (wherever the heck that is, salton sea I think). The ETA for destination got bumped up a full day and now shows arriving tonight at 8 PM. Hopefully it gets on a truck and hits the dealer tomorrow.

It's funny as our cars get closer we start talking about the mods! Tinting, dash, stripes. It's an exciting time for all of us on the 9/28 thread.
