This is great info. I didn't know that I could upgrade a 2010 with the 1LE package....gives me so much more flexibility with buying the initial car as a platform. I was worried that the axles were shorter on the SS2, making it impossible to get the width. How much would a set of the beautiful 2SS wheels go on the 1LE? I'm thinking new or similar OEM.

I may have spoke a little too soon - the 2010-2011 does need an additional part in order to use the 1LE or Z/28 suspension upgrade:

"2010-2011 Gen 5 Camaro’s require service modification kit 23484878 for proper installation of the Z/28 and 1LE suspension kits."

It's lower control arms.

Which look cheap enough to add on:

I can't find anything about the axles / width be any different on the Gen5's so wheels should be alright.

If you're shopping around for them (I recommend OEM - they'll have "Camaro" stamped on the wheel) and you want to replicate exactly the OEM 1LE handling feel - you'll want the 20x11 in rear, and 20x10 in front - with 285/35-20 tire size. And if you really want to mimic the handling - the goodyear f1 g2 is the tire spec'd for it. Though I find the Michelin PS4S is quite nice and more well rounded for street.

There are a few other differences between the cars, but for pure handling purposes that will get you there.

It is already a great handling car. Good potential as well.

A 2013 1le has a lot more to offer than a 2010 SS, especially if you get a loaded out 1le. Not sure if you have actually drove the two and compared them, you would immediately see the differences. Depending on how you drive, you might not even need to modify the 1le. Where as you would definitely have to modify the 2010 to a certain extent; struts, sways and wheels/tires, gears.
