BTR Steadfast headers

Anyone tried these out yet? Decided to take advantage of the sale, got the whole kit for $499 shipped and it appears to be a very complete package. Looking forward to getting DynoSteve to update the tune and see what these will do

Most of these cheaper set ups come with soft bolts in the clamps. Before you get started check one out and or replace them to prevent holding you up.

Wanted to share an update on these headers. They seemed to be of nice quality...not cheap feeling and thin material like some of the less expensive ones. The kit included everything you need to complete the install (o2 extenders, GM gaskets, ARP header bolts, cat-less connections and clamps that were of decent quality). Jon opted to weld the connector pipes to the headers and have only one clamped point per side, the factory clamp.

Headers have a merge spike in the collector in case anyone cares. Flanges are thick and straight as can be. Overall I'm very pleased with the value considering the price, I got them during the flash sale so $499 seems like an awesome deal

Dynosteve updated the tune for me with very quick turnaround. Car is a '15 2SS L99 ...has CAI/scoop and headers, otherwise stock from a performance standpoint. Running factory cat back system...can't tell a difference at idle or putting around town, but once you put your foot in it it makes a nice sound. Zero drone of course. With cat-less pipes you can feel a slight decrease in that off-idle torque but that's expected and ok with me as it suits my driving style. Mid and high rpm power is up for sure, I can immediately tell the difference.

This was a great modification, can't wait to get this convertor into the car

Dont the connector pipes neck down from 3” to 2.5” to fit the stock exhaust? I guess if you never plan on going 3 inch all the way it doesnt matter.

I believe that is the case, I didn't measure but they did reduce to fit the factory exhaust (nothing compared to the stock connector pipe off the factory manifold though )...I have no plans to ditch the factory cat back since it's my DD. My turbo car is plenty loud if I need to my fix.
