Fast List questions

Bone Stock!!!!!!!!!!! How in the world did the #1 pull off a fast list time of 12.76 and the 30th best pull off a time of 13.41??? Can you guys explain this? I can see maybe if the fastest time was in 30 degree weather and the 30th time was in 90 degree weather, maybe What am I missing here if anything?

That's about it. DA (Density Altitude) plays a huge a factor in racing. Track prep also plays a huge factor. Spinnin ain't winnin.

As stated above, there's a bunch of factors that contribute to or against a good time. Heck that's why the Demons were all over the place and barely ever hitting their advertised times. Their best time was recorded in November go figure it wad boost season.

DA and a good driver. There’s a reason why you see great times coming from tracks like ATCO.

Also there is the air density with making power in the engine; cold denser air makes much more power and brings on more gas to meet the air, tire inflation; smart people would drain like 1/2 the air out of their stock tires..spinning aint winning and then ther is reaction time etc etc.....

Altitude steals HP. A rule is every 1,000 feet of elevation you lose 3% of your HP. So at 6,000 FT like my local track I am down 18% before ever getting to the track vs someone at sea level.
