The shots of my rear shields in post 11 are the standard set from RPI. I guess I got lucky or I'm not as picky as others as the fit is fine. In fact I like the fit better than the front ones as they were a "no go" until I added the tape.

Same, ordered them yesterday

They're doing construction on the road right outside my neighborhood, and there's pebbles EVERYWHERE... Sounds like someone tossing a bin of BBs on my car when I come home everyday :(

Go rent a corvette? :p
Sorry, I am in the same boat. Waiting on mud guards

UPDATE: I went and looked at my car after reading your post, I'm up to 189 miles. I noticed there's a chip on the leading edge of the hood now. Went right thru the vinyl, clear coat and paint. Bare metal showing now. So what are we supposed to do? Clear bra over the vinyl? Will that even work? I think this thing already has more chips in it than does my 18year old, 1999 Ford F250, Crew Cab, Diesel PU. I guess I should have did what I did with that when it was a week old. Go up to the mountains, find the most over grown road I could find and drive down it! Never worried about the paint again. LOL

Replaced the front RPIs a few months after buying them. I'm not sure if it was my steep driveway or track duty that did them in. I replaced the rears this weekend. The bottoms of these rock guard are getting torn to shreds. The clips for the front guards didn't stay in place. I installed the OEM rock guards. I think the OEMs are the way to go.

I ran RPI Stealth rock guards on my 5th gen and loved them. I currently run the ZL1addons deluxe rock guards front and rear on the 1LE with no rocker damage. put them on at 10 miles old. Great products and cheap insurance.

Definitely. Xpel Stealth (satin finish) not only will protect the cheap vinyl on the hood, but the look of all the black items on the car will match (mirrors, front splitter, etc.) if you protect them with Xpel. Those areas will be easier to clean too.
