One friend (an MIT Geek) at the auto X yesterday was saying that their project honda for their last fuel mileage pass was getting 118.3 MPG at 40 MPH for an extended length run. Amazing! Car is almost all composite plastic. They are swapping out the belly pan on the honda car with a plastic honeycomb composit for aerodynamic and weight reasons. Pretty cool stuff! |

My trip was all Interstate 10 except the last 60 miles.
The speed limit in I-10 is 80. My average MPH was 79.5 according to the DIC. I was on cruise at 94-95 MPH for most of the way. This thing is awesome from 70 to 120 MPH!!! |

I'm BAAAAAAAACK! I can see you guys have wasted no time filling space!
 Vegas was AWESOME! I can HIGHLY recommend the Bellagio! Stayed in the Penthouse suite and it was just right! Never been to Vegas before, probably won't go back but I think everyone should experience it. My recommendation would be to do it young and single! some of my shooter buddies and I would call it, "A target rich environment!" I have to say Barrett Jackson was a bit of a let down. After seeing Mecum's auctions, Barrett Jackson's attainable prices were extraordinary. Good environment for the seller, not so good for a buyer.  Sorry we missed you 2RS, we were tied up on the auction floor and after leaving there it was a mad dash to a show. We ran our azz'z off all week! Had a lot of fun!  I got a few dirty looks at the Hennessy booth as I was wearing my Lingenfelter tee shirt! Got home late Sunday night, it will take me at least 2 weeks to catch up at work! The wedding went well, all our guests loved the classic muscle cars we gave each one! A lot of bartering and trading going on at dinner!  I have barely gotten any miles on my car! All though it was a big hit at the wedding. Our photographer happened to be a huge Camaro fan. Told us he bought a big block Camaro off the showroom floor when he returned from the military. I think he said it was a 69. Of course it was followed by, "I wish I still had it!"  Funkie Junkie, of course I will be in Dixie in March! Wouldn't miss it for the world! Now I just need to figure out how to get my name at the top of the list! Oh by the by, I should be seeing my custom wheels and tires from CCW any day now! Gotta run, finishing up at the office, check in with you slackers later!
