Question for George at MGW-I was at the Hennesey Site and saw your shifter for sale there. They also have a knob with the Hennesey H on the top. Is that your shifter knob with a different top?

Cool, you said in a recent post I think, that it will sit way low. Is that the hole assembly you were referring too?

I think what George was saying is that if you use the Race knob, which uses the OEM shaft, the height will be slightly lower than stock. If you go with the Round or Gripper knob you'll have to use a different shaft that has threads to allow you to screw on the knob. That shaft is significantly lower than factory.

So...if you want the Race knob it will basically be just lower than the stock height.

My guess is that the Race knob will fit on the factory shifter but the Gripper or Round knob you'll need to change out the shifter.

A few questions:

The smooth knob in your first pic that you posted - that will fit on the OEM shaft, correct?

How easy is it to get the old knob off and add the new one? It looks like I would have to take the whole center console apart?

If it does take another shaft, how hard is that to install?

Thanks! Sweet product!!
