Radio only goes to 45. Can i set this to go higher?

I mostly play music from my mp3 player on my phone or ipod using the aux input. When i do this, the sound is alot lower than when i play the radio, even when set at the maximum volume of 45. I made sure i have the ipod and phone turned all the way up but its not as loud as id like even at 45. Is there anyway to go in the setting and make this maximum sound to be higher?

Seriously? Dude, mine hasn't been over 19 yet and probably won't by much if any in the future. Maybe time for your hearing to get checked by a pro

Does everything else sound okay to you? Is the volume on the radio okay? Does the volume on a CD sound okay to you? If so, this could also be an issue with the MP3 itself not being ripped at a decent volume. I use a program called MP3Gain to "normalize" my MP3's. Basically it corrects the song if the volume is too low or too high. I don't have the URL for the program but it's probably readily available via a Google search.

My hearing is fine. I use the Aux input which takes the volume down, couple this with the fact i like to listen to music loud, especially when im driving fast and the windows are down because the wind creating so much noise

if you have to put it at 45 to hear it you have to have the worst sound files on earth or I would think there was something else drastically wrong with your player or usb port even if the windows are down or driving at 100 mph

sounds like you may need to upgrade your system with amps

Turn up the volume on whatever you're using to play mp3's from. My Samsung phone used to cut the audio back to super quiet whenever I plugged in the 1/8" mini-jack. Had to turn it all the way up FIRST, then adjust the volume on the head unit.

Nothing wrong with loud music but please pay attention to your surroundings, ESPECIALLY while driving fast.

Not showing disrespect at all, just saying that mine on 19 is really loud, can't imagine that with a correctly functioning system 45 not being loud enough.
Windows down, at speed and hammering it I can understand though
