Headers to high flow cats
Hey all. When I bought my used 2010 camaro ss I had to go the cheaper route with regards to exhaust due to funds. I went with high flow cats and an axle back exhaust instead of L.T headers with high flow cats and a catback exhaust. Well we hit a little extra money on a scratch off, nothing huge, but enough to make another mod. My question is, can I put L.T headers without the high flow cats on my car and butt them up to my existing high flow cats, or would this be a situation where only shorty headers will work? If I can't do that I thought about gears? I have some basic bolt-ons but not L.T headers or gears?

Your existing high flow cats will only work with shorty headers, long tube headers would not mate up to those. Gears will help the car feel faster for sure.

Headers mated with proper hi Flo cats on your stock system is the best route.
