Mine just broke at only 9500 miles. I'd rather fix myself than mess with the dealer. Any suggestions how to fix?

Mine also broke and I'm over 60k miles on 2011 ss Camaro. Needing advice on a fix...

A whole seat? Just for that metal piece. Thought they would have a tool to fix it. Well at least there taking care of it.
