Question What trans coss member and mount for CTSV 6L90E?

I picked up a 2012 CTSV 6L90E to replace my 6L80E in my 2010 Camaro SS and need to know what trans cross member and mount will work.

Anyone know?

PN #'s?

I believe the GM part number for the crossmember is 20952438 and the trans mount is 20952440. You will also need a driveshaft goes from 6L90E to SS differential. The stock drive shafts will not work. I have done this swap. I just pulled my DSS 4" driveshaft out. Let me know if you are interested it will be for sale.

Thanks for the PN#'s!

I already ordered the 3.5" DSS drive shaft.

You will be happy you made the swap. My 6L80 died at about 750 Hp and the 6L90 is holding up great at over 1000. The DSS driveshafts are awesome. Good luck

Who tuned it?

Seems like the tune is part of the recipe for making the 6L80 / 6L90 last.

Exclamation

For future reference if others try this swap, the ZL1 and SS corss members might have different PN#'s but they're in exactly the same.

The ZL1 and SS cross member to CTSV 6L90 won't work without some custom fab work.

The CTSV tail has the mount holes farther back than a SS / ZL1 cross member mount.

My shop guy made a mount...

So I don’t do anything half ass lol
I’m over at a buddy’s and we are gonna cut your transmission/mounting plate on his plasma table so it’s 100% and if anyone needs one later down the road they will be available.

Probably spent way more time than I should have on this but it fits beautifully and it is serviceable so it uses the stock mounts no modifications.

If something breaks it can be replaced and this piece swaps right over.

Hey I know this is from last year but I'm doing this swap and would love to have one of those adapter plates your buddy makes if they are still available. Any help is much appreciated!!
