Paint issue from Bra

What happens to the paint onder the clear bra? When/if it is removed 2 or 3 years later will the paint be affected. Obviously is will not fade like the rest of the car so naturally that portion of the car will look different from the majority of the car.

I am wondering if the clear Bra could damage the paint after a period of time. How easy is it to remove?

Thanks JP

The film is optically clear so the paint will fade at the same rate the rest of the car does. I have seen film pulled off of a car thats been on there for over 5 years and no difference at all. Well except that the paint under the film is perfect where he rest of the car had swirl marks. It is fairly easy to remove... much more so opn a warm day as opposed to when its cold.

sorry if this is a dumb question, but before today i didnt even know clear bras existed lol..

anyways, what's the deal on having to wash the car if the whole car has the clear film? like does it always shine like new if you put the film on day one, or do you still have to wash the car? and if you still have to wash it do you have use certain products??

These same questions come up over and over. I recommend doing a search in the forum and check out what other Camaro owners have posted. And there are plenty of pictures to show the product so you can make your own decision.

3M... full front face... gives you a line across the hood, but for the protection it gives.. i can live with that!

according to my installer the bra doesn't block UVs so the paint under it will fade normally with the rest of the car.3M gives five years warranty against discoloring, cracking , yellowing....
for the guy asking about the wash my installer told me not to wash the car for 3 days and then wash it normally or even polish it if u want to>

Thanks for the feed back guys, I think I will just go with the front bumber and mirrors, don't really want to do the hood.

Thanks
