I’ve hated the black wheel look ever since it first came into style. I had a set on mine when I bought it, sold them to some kid who was going to put them on a Monte Carlo, and put the stockers back on.

How about some polished American Racing Torq-Thrust II's. They're expensive but do have the old school look.

Those do look nice.

A 20 inch wheel made of steel would be incredibly heavy and quite frankly less of a wheel.

i like the OEM RS/SS wheels

i also like the 1LE/ZL1 10 spoke wheels better!

Black, chrome, polished, its a matter of preference.

I liked the look of the 1LE/ZL1 wheels and also like how it opened up a whole other level of tire combination options

You cant fit 335s on the back with the factory RS/SS wheel

Hate to break it to you but, steel wheels haven't rocked for a while and wont ever again. Only thing there good for is winter rims.

Now I wouldn't say chrome is dead (because my gf loves it) but it's not my particular taste. Everyone likes what they like.

If you really want chrome steel wheels, go buy some winter steelies and get them chromed.

I thought the same thing 15 years ago. over time they have grown on me. I bought my ss with rims that had black and chrome but technically I purchased my first set off all black about a month ago. unless its a silver car or sometimes white then you can pull of chrome for modern muscle cars. old school can still have chrome imo.

Agree! I like both. Easy to get bored of Chrome or Black - but easy to interchange if you have an extra set of wheels. I think Black looks great IMHO.

I don't necessarily dislike the Black wheels. It just seems like when you see them from a distance, they look like an old wheel on a spare tire. All you can see is the dark hole where the wheel is. Of course, it could just be that I'm an old fart and can't see as good as I usta be able to. There are so many wheel options out now, that if you look long enough, your bound to find something you like.
For me it was a chrome wheel with parts painted to match the car. I get compliments at just about every car show I am in.

+1 on the 1LE and ZL1 10 spoke. They really make this car look good.

Bought mine in November.
