Help hand held tuner LOCKED from Lethal Racing 2013
Does anyone recognize the EFI Black hand held tuner posted?
I purchased this tuner from Lethal back in 2013, Shawn tuned my car with this tuner Later, I traded in the car to a dealership, who later ran the car through an action, and I kept the hand held tuner. The new owner is now asking about the tuner, because Lethal locked the tune. Can the tune be unlock if we have the original hand held tuner? Recently the car will not shift out of second gear into third gear only when using the paddle shifter? But will shift fine in standard drive mode. Lethal Racing is apparently now out of Business Thanks For Your Help |

If you send him the Tuner then it can be used to change his tune. It may also have the stock tune on it.

once these hand held tuners are used they can only be used with the vehicle they are
married to |

I'm curious why you have 2 tuners? The SCT one if it had been used stores the stock tune on it & is married to the car until the car is returned to stock as noted earlier. Sorry I can't help with the EFI Live no experience with that one.

after the original build, I had someone else remote tune with the SCT then later had someone else tune with the EFI, I should have left the SCT out of the picture, has no merit in this post.

They may be able to help get you pointed in the right direction. I assume the EFILive file itself is locked, I'm not sure you can unlock through the handheld but maybe you can return to stock? |

Just curious but why would they contact you regarding the tuner?
you traded it in and the the dealer promptly flipped it at auction. That's not your problem. I'd "walk away" if I were you. |
