BMR 1.25" Drop Issues

After installing the springs on my 2011 camaro SS, I had some issues that got fixed (thanks to those who told me how to re-time the bushings) but i still have an issue with ride height being off. How can i correct it?

Driver Front: 28 5/8" Center of Fender to ground
Driver Rear : 28 5/8" Center of Fender to ground
Passenger Front: 28 1/4"-3/8"(i believe 5/16, the tick mark between those 2) center fender to ground
Passenger Rear : 28 3/4" center fender to ground

I still havent gotten a fix for my car driving straight but the steering wheel is crooked to the right some (as if the car pulled right tilted). I have rechecked the spring seating. With the suspension hanging, The springs can be wiggled around (front tested). I made sure they are seated in the rubbet grom properly. I re-tightened the shock pole after loosening the top plate, and the nut below it to see if they helped. Yea i did cut the front bump stops, rears untouched. These measurements are as accurate as i can get them for here

Anyone? I really want my car level again or atleast close enough.
I think this is whats causing my alignment guy to have the car going straight but the wheel isnt. its off the right. if i straighten the car goes left

I have the same issue with the same springs. Thinking about switching out to DSE. My issue is with the front passenger side, half inch off from the drivers side. Rears are within eighth of inch of each other. I didn't measure before installing so not sure what drop I got, the rear still seems a little high. Going to redo everything when this late spring(no pun).

My buddy has a 14 1le on PFADT springs, his just sits nicer than mine, makes me jealous. His just looks level, all the wheel gaps seem the same. The rear on his sits a tad lower than mine and the front on mine sits a tad lower than his which makes my rear look a lot higher than his, when it is only a 1/4 inch higher. He is on stock struts/shocks where as I am on Bilsteins, not sure if that makes a difference. I know my alignment is spot on to JPSS specs.

I have the 1.4 inch drop BMR springs, never had any issues with alignment or way the car sits. Re indexed all the bushings, had aligned, sits and drives like a dream. Only issues I had was getting the rear alignment right for the track with 315/40/18 DRs on an 18x11 wheel with a +43 offset. Just had to pick upa couple rear BMR adjustable arms. Could have fit a 325 on there even with the 1.4 drop.

i am on OEM also. I may ask BMR to send a 2nd set out and swap em, return the other set. I could have a bad set

Make sure the alignment shop does the same specs on camber . Some do the factory range is all. That affects height some. Springs higher in the rear 1/4-3/8” is fine and is factory rake. Level height is fine for street, but is mostly for roadcourses.you need rake for steering response. If that matters to you

My BMR springs clunk like no other, the dead coils weren't designed for crappy Michigan roads. I switched to Bilstein Coilovers

Is this a common problem with BMR springs only or all lowering springs in the 5th gen?

This is not the first time I heard of people have issues after installing the BMR springs on a 5th gen Camaro. Having a reputable alignment technician actually dial in the correct alignment specs for your 5th gen Camaro is key. I have the Eibach Pro Kit Springs and Bilstien struts and shocks and I have no issues what so ever. On our 2010 Camaro SS coupe we seen a 1.4” drop all the way around with the Eibach Pro Kit Springs. I just get my alignment done every two years and I am good. I would install different brand springs for sure. Our tires are expensive to replace when they wear unevenly good luck.

I have had BMR 1,25 springs on mine for a year now with no issues. I do have a great alignment guy who went off the of recommended numbers I found online for this drop. Different manufacturers offer alignment specs and you can find these through Google and between those and his knowledge he set it up and it has been money. Rides great, no noise and sits perfect on all 4 corners. I did the install and just make sure I have him check the alignment when its serviced and has never needed anything. We changed a couple things just to see if it helped it launch a little better.

Hope this helps. Thanks!

Mine clunked in the beginning but eventually went away. It occasionally makes noise but not all the time. Also my ride height was uneven until had it aligned and reindexed and now all level.
