Gen 5 Manual Shift Knob

I recently purchased a 2010 Camaro 2SS and everything is black inside and out. I want to liven up the inside (and out) with some red accents. I see there is a Red Manual shift knob on the Gen 6 ZL1 that is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Will this fit on a GEN 5? or is there a variant that will work?

Here is a link to the shift knob I hope to find.

Likely not. the 10-12 on the 5th was even different than the 13-15, which would probably have a better chance of being the same type of attachment as the 6th. the 10-12 were push on- pull off where the 13-15 had a set screw and specific boot ring that may be the same on the 6th, but I don't think so. Haven't tried to remove this one.

if you get the MGW shifter it may work, I think those are designed to be universal with the shift knobs

Welcome, you can add plenty of red paint to match interior pieces, (my fav is the red billet cup holder bezel) by ordering from Lupe at River City Creations in TX. He has plenty of engine dress up items as well. The addiction starts here.
