Stuarts 2013 Gen 5

Hi All,
I said hello a little while back on the introductions and was hoping it would be ok to post here about the car as my ownership goes along.

Bought a few weeks ago in England with 37K miles done. Its a 2013 V6 and looks to be in very good condition. Unfortunately it came with no US history which is a shame as I love to keep all that stuff.

Since getting it home I haven't had it out as I want to have it as nice as I can. So first thing to do was to give the paint a really good detail.

Plans for now are to lower it about an inch and a half and fit front and side splitters (flat type), only thing is shipping from the US looks to be extremely expensive so I'll have to look into that a little more.

Thank you. When I had seen the photos of it originally I thought it was red which I'd have been happy enough with but when it turned out to be Inferno orange I was completely in love. All the little marks are pretty much coming out and as I get each panel done I am treating it with ceramic coating. Can't wait to get it out of the garage.

It's a beautiful color!!!

Is that a Fiat X1/9 covered in the corner?

I'm a lifelong Fighting Irish of Notre Dame fan, so Go Irish!

Correct an 89 Gran Finale. Was my Dads until he passed away and now passed on to my son. Needs a bit of restoration now but something I'm going to do with Son when he gets a little older to appreciate it.

Unfortunately I've had little in the way of updates to post as all I have been doing is detailing the paint as I get time. I did however get the wheels left off with a friend to be powder coated. He decided to powder coat them matt inner with gloss on the flat surfaces and have to say I'm really pleased with the finish.

Oh nearly forgot. I bought a new registration for the car to. I would have liked a 13 plate as my car is a 2013 car but because of the way registrations work in the UK 13 plates only come out in May and as my car is a Jan 13 I could only go for a 12 plate.
