Yeah, do not weld. You can get this plenty tight with no leaks. These should really be nice give a mid $300 price. I smell a Christmas present.

nothing VOIDS your ENTIRE warranty... The dealership can only deny warranty claims on the parts they can prove are affected by your after market parts... But some dealerships will give you the run around and try to bully you... Know your rights:

That's because they anticipate getting an E.O number. When you have an EO or meat the requirements of the EPA's "tampering" Memorandum, your part is now a "legal replacement part". It therefore fall under the Moss-Magnuson Act and SEMA and the manufacturer can step in to help you in a warranty situation.
JBA has been doing e.o.'d headers for years and I don't doubt they will get certified.
Note: If you replace or move that cats then all that is out the window. You cannot replace a cat unless it is defective. And if you replace it, it has to be with the exact same spec or a certified part. It has to be stamped and in the manufacturers catalog as a replacement for that car.

That said, I don't think you would pick up anything by changing the cats. They are pretty free flowing. Over on the CTS side there was virtually no increase.

Regarding exhaust leaks. Best tip I ever got. Use ARP Stainless bolts. They will not heat cycle and work loose. That's why people say torque them then runn for awahile and re-torque. The steel bolt expands and contracts. Since I started using these I've not had one gasket failure or loose bolt.

What up guys . My v6 is the one being use for to make the shorties and the exhaust system. I went yesterday for a sound test for the exhaust but it did not work out. I should be back at JBA probably in the next week or two for a second test and probably for the shorties too. Don't ask me any thing about them have not seen a thing everytime I go I just leave my car and then I just come back and pick up the car and then they call me back with in a week. I will keep you posted ones I see any results. One more thing my car is being use by Speed By Spectre Performance to make a cold air intake. I should be getting a call in the next to weeks for testing.

Hey guys, I got a shot of the JBA Axle back system for the LT V6 cars. Special thanks to Buitre for assisting us.
The next sound test should be the final one. We know how important sound is to the Camaro world.
This new V6 is amazing, the sound needs to be right! So check it out...

Hey Greg, bought time you showed up,

You guys should do a 08-09 CTS shorty & cat-back too. I'll stop by and see you at SEMA.

very very easy to install. i did my cobalt headers( MUCH less room, and like 12 bolts) simply by just feeling my way around behind the motor, so i know this wont be a problem. and i had never done this before in my life when i did it on my balt
