Sorry should have clarified my question better.
Wondering the compression pressure reading that would be acceptable during a compression test if anyone has ideas or experience.
I just think all cylinders should come within 10% of each other. Not sure if that number should be 160, 200 psi or what it needs to be.
Thanks for letting me invade your thread again!

my car responded very well to the milling. i ordered the heads from AFR and they did the machining prior to delivering them. milled .030"

all i did was check all the valves to make sure they were seated properly. no additional porting

compression ratio is about 11.5:1 now. needs E85 to get everything she has out of her

It's worth about 20 rwhp, it that worth it to you? It all depends I guess.

What rear tire and wheel do you have?

For me it was a pass on touching the heads until they have to come off the car for other reasons. Eventually I'll want to replace the stock LS3 lifters and when I do they'll get milled down a decent bit. Just diminishing returns - trying to go quick on a budget.

its funny you say that. i was not planning on doing headwork (let alone buy some $3K heads)

i just thought it was a "good idea" to do the lifters (which i did)....and a month before my March 26th appointment for the install, my uncle sam check arrived so it was on. i was in the market for some TFS255's or AFR260's and that was

That’s what I did. When I put my cam in I replaced the stock lifters with Johnson 2110R. My shop was like we should port these heads since you paying for the labor to come off. I wanted to get GPI heads but they were not in the budget at that point, so we sent them to Katech for their CNC service and very happy with the results.

Appreciate it!

It was for all that contribute in this forum otherwise might have went another route. So happy i was able to find one built so clean and taken care of.

Hope to get some things from GPI in the next couple weeks, including new springs. They probably have around 10k miles give or take but don't wanna take any chances.

Again big thanks to all. If anyone thoughts on a tire set up that would still be able to make a road trip to Camaro Fest and also hit the drag strip after arriving.
