hey guys!!! My car got to Mesquite at 345pm this afternoon- now I'm just waiting for empty and a ride to the dealership---- i was hoping for this saturday as delivery--- but it's prob. gonna be next-- So I'm a little bummed but sooo excited!!!!

Okie- Congrats on finally getting empty status!

Well tommorrow is the BIG DAY for me guys... My car is in Mesquite right now and will be at the dealer in Grapevine in the morning.

Sadly tho i have to wait till i get off wk at 12:45 on Saturday to pick her up.. do to the family wants to be there when i get it.. :(

So what about everybody else?? whats the update on your cars...

We are on the same rail car and mine will be headed to Weatherford, Tx, so it's not too far from the rail yard in Arlington, which should be final destination. I spoke with my dealer to let him know where the car was and he was kind puzzled at how I knew where the car was and how much info I had about the Camaro. He called me to see how another customer could track his car and of course I sent him to Camaro5.com and Camarotracking.com.
We should be at destination within the next hour or so. I am hoping that the car gets to dealership tomorrow so that I can pick-up on Saturday. Anyways keep your fingers crossed and hope we get loaded to delivery truck quickly and not sitting around for days at rail yard.

were you on the rail car that got to mesquite at 345 pm today? and are you getting your car from classic chevy in grapevine tx? they told me not to expect delivery until like wed. of next week...... I may have to do some callin! LOL

Did the dealership tell you to come get it tomorrow?

10 am at industry just means at the rail road-- right? That does not mean that the car is going to be at the dealership?

I think some people are mis-informed of what exactly the prompts mean. Myself included---I apologize in advance If i am wrong!!!

Ok as of 7:45pm tonight its just heading out of Lansing Michigan. Sweet! few more days should be here I hope..

Nessa - at industry means where the railcar will be when it's ready to be unloaded. It may arrive early like mine, but not be placed in industry for a little while. Industry does not men that it WILL be unloaded at that time. Mine took 14 hours at industry before receiving the much awaited "empty" status.

You can follow some of the threads in the "where's my camaro" thread. The key is to hear the wonderful words "empty."!!!!! Then wait for the truck ride to the dealer. If you have a big dealer, I'd guess it will get there pretty quick after "empty."

You're almost there!

thanks okie-- I was about to freak because a couple of people on the same train as me took the at industry to mean that they could go to their dealership--- the same as mine--- and get their car right then.

I thought that what you said was right..... But i was gonna call my sales person if everyone else was getting theirs!!!! and I wasn't! haha! So when do you get yours?
