Love the trunk mat, and have the same sill plates, mine lasted 2 years before the LED's started failing but I don't think it should be hard to change them out. I have RGB Halos so I will probably wire them to match the halos when I fix them. But it looks great!!!!

Had the dealer replace the brake fluid reservoir and cap, as brake fluid was seeping and bubbled the paint on the inside wheel well and lower body rails under the reservoir. That will have to be repaired as well. There was a service bulletin on this issue up to 2013, but they said it did not apply to my 2014, although they were not sure the problem was ever corrected. They also pointed to an aluminum billet cap I had installed, which used the OEM rubber diaphram/gasket. The original cap was even looser than the billet cap, but I wasn't gonna argue about it. I guess the takeaway for me is a caveat on aftermarket caps, as the whole thing will cost me $500. with the paint. :-(

By the way, I had NO IDEA that brake fluid would bubble paint like that!

The 5th gens had this problem. What I did was took the cap seal out and got a milk carton. I traced the original seal on the milk carton, cut it out and put the original seal back in and put the milk carton seal I cut out and put in on top of the original seal. Put the cap back on the resivor and have never had a bit of trouble it since and did the same thing to my sons camaro no problems. Bought a new billet cap did the same thing to it and no problems in 9 years.

Thanks man and wow that’s a pretty cool idea if you can pull that off wiring them up the same. Eventually I’ll do something with my headlights as well.

After sending in final payment last month, I received the title yesterday. It's finally mine.
