Ways to lessen the RASP

So i recently got kooks headers and off road pipes (catless) done on my car. First time I have done either mod and I absolutely love how loud it is and the exhaust note BUT getting up to higher RPM that raspy noise gets to be a little much. I don't mind it that much but what are some options to tone it down a bit without quieting the whole car? I do have stock xpipe and mufflers with the NPP.

Could a resonator be added? or would that be the same as just adding 2 of the cats back in. Or has anyone had luck with a certain axle back? I'm new to the exhaust mods so enlighten me!

resonators are free flowing. will quiet it down some and should take away the rasp. Im going to be installing these in the transmission tunnel soon i think. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/xfo-ct04-14s

Yeah i was leaning towards those cause they are the cheapest option by far. I'm content with the rasp at the moment but let me know what you think if they help a lot. I got to hear the car from outside and it doesn't sound as bad as i thought it would comparing it to in the cab so i'm in no rush at all

I currently have the Borla resonator in the Borla X-pipe with ATAK cat back & kooks 2", no cats.

Started with all stock exhaust, removed all cats with the NEP cat delete pipes and it was super raspy and I thought it sounded awful.

Then, installed the whole Borla set-up, which improved the sound and reduced the rasp some, enough that i was happy with the results.

Finally did the Kooks this winter, and that actually helped with the rasp and it sounds even better.

I spoke to Borla about the resonator, wanted to make sure it wouldn't over heat with the whipple supercharger and they said there is no concern there, and it will certainly help with the raspy sounds.

I put on a Borla ATAK NPP axle back and there is no rasp/brightness to the tone anymore. The sound is dramatically more baritone compared to stock.

Do you have any sound clips of the current set up? Or before the headers? I have been considering a similar set up and wondered how the resonators tamed the rasp.

Is your Borla X pipe 2and3/4 or is 3". I never did figure it out. I have headers and there were strange harmonics without the cats, same goes with the CA front cat deletes. I'm very happy with the headers / cats, but still may to a Borla X or H or something with the resonators.
