I still get the P0300 erro go off every now and then, and Im thinking one the cam sensors is needing replacement. The timing chain and crank was replaced in this car before I purchased it.

Good to know. I cleared the codes and the service engine light disappeared. The car started each time without incident since it was charged overnight last weekend. I still keep it connected to the battery tender. However.. the scanner still indicates that there is a permanent code stored for the misfires per cylinder etc... I will keep an eye on it and see if the problems persists.

Did some more online researching and found that it is more likely due to bad gas now in the car. If a car sits for more than 30 days then the gas will start to deteriorate. What I'll do is add some Stabil and drive it around a little bit more till I empty the tank then put fresh gas in with another bottle of Stabil. The Stabil will keep the gas fresh for a year or so.

Update - I have been keeping my car connected to a battery tender or trickle charger in the garage when not driving. I have also finally used up all the gas in the tank and refilled yesterday. I then added the STABIL for the time being since I do not drive the car much anymore due to my job. As of yet... I have not had any issues whatsoever since I last posted.

I had this happen after i took my car out of winter storage. Just like you it stumbled a little bit on start up. I checked the code and it was for a misfire. I cleared the code and check engine light never came back on. That was 3000 miles ago.

Yes - still taking some time getting used to the Northern Florida life compared to the busy South Florida life we had for 10 years or so. Will have to plan a get together sometime in the near future. With my current USPS job - its been difficult getting time off.

Sounds about right to me. I purchased an OBDII scanner from Harbor Freight and cleared the code. Added STABIL and charged the battery. Been good since.

That stinks PC is a nice area.

I am starting to collect parts for my 6th Gen ZL1 appearance conversion.

I am heading up to GA to pick up an OEM ZL1 hood.

Wow! Sounds like fun. How are you liking the change to your current Camaro compared to your previous car I purchased from you? It went through a suspension upgrade last year and handles on a whole new level now.
