Actually, he may have been better off if he had been in a Vette. First, they are a lot stronger in the front then most realize and have a very well designed 'crumple' zone .. ask me how I know. Second, due to the sloped front end versus the flat one on the Camaro, there's a good chance the bison would have slid up and over a corvette; hitting them with the Camaro was like hitting them with a battering ram, whereas hitting them with a Corvette would have been like hitting them with a wedge.

A few years back, during a rain storm, hydroplaned going into a tunnel and hit the tunnel wall at about 50mph, totaled the front of the Vette, but walked away without a scratch. Both the officers and EMS that showed up commented on how lucky I was be driving a Corvette, in another car, under the same circumstances, there's a good chance I'd by on my way to the hospital or worse.

not sure how a bison trying to come through your windshield would work out.think id rather pass on that experiment...

I did not know that about the vette! A 800 pound bison would crush the windshield and roof though.
