Well guys I haven’t been on here in a little bit but here’s the latest.

Tint 35% on doors and all other windows 5% and louvers
Not usually a louver guy but with the way you've put that car together those are stellar on there such a nice flow to everything

Tint Today

Had the sides and back tinted with 3M CS, 20%.. no photos yet but what a difference whether you're looking at it or sitting inside. My eyes are very light sensitive and I should have had it done much sooner. 35% is limit where I live, but I'm in my 50s and drive responsibly so I'm not too worried about it.

Did 20% on mine, as well. Also in a state that requires 35%. I had a 2LT prior to the SS and had it on that too. No problems from the authorities to date. Really helps keep the heat down in the car on those hot summer days.
Plus, the windows look, as the installer mentioned, “like they’re supposed to be.”

I've had better days when I would love to spend Saturday listening to music and detailing the Camaro. Two months ago I was diagnosed with a difficult type of cancer and I didn't want to ask my husband to do more than he's been doing caring for me, so I took it to the car wash where I usually take the Yukon. I live in a small town in L.A. (wierd, right?) but the folks at the car wash had already heard of my condition - yeah i've been a public school teacher in this small town for 30 yrs - and what was going to be a handwash, ended up a full detail because they cared. That was amazing and i am so glad I overtipped for all those years. LOL.
So now, for as long as I can, I will be dropping the top and riding around town. This car really did inspire joy in my life.

Put on the ARH headers and exhaust on the Z28 today. The sound has completely changed . Was a fairly easy install except for the left side headers which has quite a few lines that get in the way when removing some of the header bolts. But this was a great purchase.

3:91 gears and new paint

Been pretty busy. Had 3:91 gears installed. New Tune. Took off my front end vinyl (peeling and seems all over) and actually had it painted in the same pattern along with side skirts and front spoiler.
Also, fixed my Tire Sticker problem with new glue and paint pen. After a few days the tires still look great even with rain everyday.

Gears cost $1100 to install through GM. A little high but is warrantied. I had to program speedometer through my Diablo Itune myself even though I had a certificate that stated they would do it. They said it needed a special tune to get the gears working right with the speedo so they couldn't do it (WTF). I was actually able to do it myself. Not hard at all with Diablo. I then had a custom tune done and she woke up.

Pretty happy with results all around.

The special tune is for the shift points and torque management. You may hit the rev limiter easier without it.

working on some details adding white to the car and made my own hash marks along with pin stripes. It turned out well. At first I had them a little bit to close to 1 another.

Nice! The vinyl looks extra thin. Is that something special and if so, may I ask where you got it?
Thanks
