Yep, told him to let me know. His initial e-mail did say "in a couple of weeks" though. Wishful thinking I guess

On a related note, I'm surprised at how terrible the dealer ratings for Chevy dealers are around here. Scary. The infamous Bill Heard Chevy was in the area as well. After a local news team did an undercover story on their poor business practices and several people setting up lawn chairs on the sidewalk in front of their dealership with signs saying "I was ripped off" they went out of business. One guy even had "Bill Heard Chevrolet screwed me, ask me how" decals on his car. I actually saw the guy driving around.

They ran him out of town, didn't they? I watched the video on the guy who bought a truck, then they came and took it back in the middle of the night...They told the guy they had a PRICING ERROR, and had the right to take it back. WOW. And they have MANY MANY MANY dealers across the SE USA.

as far as a production car....Feb 16th + 3-5 weeks shipping = March 2009......This equates "roughly" to "a couple of weeks".

It would be a pre-prod magazine test car, if anything. And the odds are against that happening.

I called down there and spoke to Adam. He said that it is a production version and they will have it in a couple of weeks. He said you can get up close and personal with it. You can sit in it and touch everything! The only thing you can't do is start it. Sounds funny to me but that what Adam said.

Well, the day they get it I'll run right down there. It's only a few miles from where I work.

Searching Edmunds this dealer was the ONLY one in my area with a good rating.

maybe he misread and thought you meant 2001 Camaro...

One of the movie cars was here near me last weekend at a local dealership. It was just a pushcar. No motor, half an interior, doors didn't open etc.
