^^ what he said. Various groups get a CTF vehicle to drive before full production. Mileage accumulation and final spot checks. Yours was a calibration verification car (my old group). Verifying no hiccups in the 2015 engine cal.

So no hiccups in the 2015 engine cal eh? I wonder if this means I don't need to be in AS much of a hurry to do repairs to the head? I didn't know much about the problems with the LS7 heads I wasn't prepared for all the negativity I've found on youtube etc shew

'Calibration' is referring to computer tuning not mechanics

Car #484, where are you?

If the new (4th) owner of 2015 AGM, #484 shows up here, I have a couple of items from my original purchase that need to be reunited with the car. I just saw it posted online and missed it before it sold. It's a little unique, with roll cage and harnesses, & center console gauge package installed. It also has some rash on the right front corner from a brush with the second owner's trailer. Just putting it out there in case one of you sees it locally.

Cheers.

2014 #273 found for sale on Vroom.com

https://www.vroom.com/inventory/chev...FS1EEXE9700273

Replaced the taillights with Gen6 lookalikes.... also the 427 badges on the hood has convinced me not to do it to mine.

Its a Red With A/C car.

No got this one from private seller. Had lower miles (9000) and it looked newer. I did see the sliver one from Mac Haik and with all the stuff they changed out, I felt it was used on a track. If I recall it had 14,000 miles and the dealer changed out the carbon rotors??? Ahhh, it’s been tracked. I walked.

I’m also finding out by production number silver ice is very rare. 2015 only 50 silver ice made. Dang, I got a rare Z.

mlee,

You know what else would be cool. If you or someone can start a sticky post about the 2014 and 2015 Z-28 performance built badge. It’s got a name of the person who built your Z’s engine. I think the badge is on the passenger side engine area. I’m still trying to find mine. I think it would be cool to see who built the most engines. Just to see how many times that specific engine builders name pop up.

Question like did each engine builder have certain number they had to make?
Did some builders build more because they were fast?
Did some builder build less because they were slow?

We could take a picture and post it, like posting the vin number.

There is a thread on this. I think it was titled “Who built your engine?”
