camera wiring advise

Ok, so I have everything inbound for my HU and camera upgrade. So I will be wiring both front and rear cameras to an ACC line, NOT to the reverse light. The HU has a reverse switch to take care of that. So here is the question.

Do I search for an available ACC in the fuse box? This is becoming extremely difficult since I already have the radar detector and dash cam hardwired into the 2 accessory fuses (the ones for the cigarette lighters) in the dash box.

or

Do I splice into the ACC line coming out of the T-Harness from the Maestro RR? My plan is to run the Yellow (12v constant) thru a relay and use the ACC from the t-harness as the switch. And run the output from the relay to the HU, and both cameras.

Which is the better option???

Where i think you are confused is that the HU hasa reverse trigger IN. not out. The radio wont know squat. You will need to tie into the reverse wire either behind the license plate or find it elsewhere inside the car.

ACC is for accessory turn on meaning 1-2 amps for a amp turn on. NOT a camera. cameras take up to 10a of power to turn on and fully function.

No, th HU has a reverse in. Its not the stock radio, it's a kenwood DDX9705S. Definately has reverse in.
No confusion about that on my end

WOW. So no one added cameras with a new HU install? No one is familiar with car electronics?

All I need to know is which is a better solution:

1) Adding a relay to the stereo t-harness with 3 outs (Yellow to IN and red to switch), 1 to HU and 2 to cameras. Just as an FYI, the Yellow in the t-harness has a 7.5amp fuse.

OR

2) Running an add-a-circuit to one of the 2 power outlet fuses, putting a 7.5amp fuse in the add-a-circuit out, and splitting it 4 (radar, dash cam, 2 cameras) ways with a 2amp fuse each. This will allow a cleaner install of the HU itself.
