Our Utah Camaro5 friends are having a get together today I will post some pics later should be fun.. Im bringing my little model car since I dont have my real car yet..

Gemini - that 800 number is addicting, I call it at least 6 times a day. I called it before going to bed last night and then again this morning. I am waiting for it to say empty so it can make its way to the dealer.

There is a cruise here next weekend and I am should be set up and ready to go for that, can't wait.

ok I called union pacific's 800 number and it now says PTA 10-29-------

What in the H**L does that mean? It better dang well not mean I have to wait until the 29th to get my car!!!!!!!

but if it does-- what do I do-- just be mad and wait until then!LOL

This whole process sux! LOL

I did a drive by at the dealer before they opened. Nope... still no car. Still no call.

I guess I can mark this week as a waste. It's really mind boggling to see how inefecient this whole process is. My car was in OKC Tuesday. It went hundreds of miles in just a few days and it can't make it 20 miles in 4 days?

Okay... I fell a little better.

My wife did let me drive her Camaro to the dealer for the drive by, but, it didn't help as much as I had hoped! I want MINE!

have you called UP's 800 number? I called last night and it said PTA of 10-29.
I am hoping I am wrong --- but guessing it means projected truck arrival 10-29-- that would be 2 weeks of sitting at the rail yard-

my dealer told me he expected it by tuesday or wed of this coming week.-- Lord know, I hope he's right!!!!!

So close, yet so far. The trucks deliver 7 days a week...at least to most dealerships. I've got my fingers crossed for ya!! Good Luck.

Yeah, I've called the UP number a couple of times and it just says "empty."

My dealer told me he gets deliveries 24/7 as well. My wife's Camaro was delivered on a Sunday morning... we just happened to be there. (Oh man, I realize now I'm a dealer stalker!

) I think the problem is the truck has to be full before it will deliver. It's an independent company that delivers to several dealers. I guess it's possible it could be delivered today.

Me... I'm looking at OU losing to Texas (at least the odds say so) and NOT getting my car (at least the odds say so). This could be a horrible weekend for me!!!!

But, I know someday I'll get my car and this will all be behind me!

ok-- Okie-- or anyone I need help- My status has changed on UP again- released for movement ETA at industry 10-19-09 at 701 AM.

any ideas? I am sure it means my car will be at the dealer on monday-- I'm happy- but I have to wait until saturday to get it!!!!!! I want to just cry-- happy and sad tears!!!!! LOL
