transmission questions
hello everyone recently swapped my radiator. guess i didnt hook up the trans cooler lines properly leaked fluid on the test drive now the transmission wont shift into gear does this mean the tranny is no good or just needs fluid? also whats the proper way to connect these lines? i put it back together the way i found so idk what i did wrong. its a 2010 l99.

Trans should be fine, just need to refill it following the correct fill up procedure(engine running, need to be at operating temp, level as possible, put through gears R/D/N back to park among other things). Once full following correct procedure, over filling a bit(0.5-1qts) usually helps during hard driving and seems to get rid of flaring.
If the lines to the radiator are leaking then the seals/oring may be damaged. Clips Or fittings may not be seated all the way....? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk |
