Sounds like pins in connectors not making good contact.. Might tweak those for better connection? Good luck....

I agree with Hunter. If you wiggle the harnesses connected to the BCM and it works again, you probably have a loose pin somewhere. Since the harness is new, it might mean you need a BCM. I wouldn't recommend trying to open it up and work on it unless you are an expert. If you find out it is the BCM, you'll have to program it to work.

I ignored the E in EBCM. I thought you were talking about the Body Contol Module not the Brake control module that I see in the picture now. I’m still baffled by your symptoms and your temporary fix by wiggling the harness. That would indicate to me that the fault is in the harness or the module. The only other thing I can think is to test fuse 43 to see if it is good and fully seated. But I don’t think that is your problem.

I would open up the harness and check for broken wires inside the insulation on the wires. Sometimes a wire can break right at the connector or inside its insulation. The wire may look ok on the outside but the wire is broken inside. Easy test is to open the harness then gently pull on each wire to see if the insulation stretches as you pull on it. Can be right at the connections too. Good Luck
