Wired the halos direct so I can run them w/o the markers and taillights. I went straight from the fuse box (#15 ignition fuse) directly to the halos. No need for diodes as there’s nowhere to back flow to, as far as I can tell.
There appears to be no way to keep the headlights off when starting in the garage. You can’t turn off auto headlights until the key is turned to ignition which fires the lights up. No matter how fast you try to turn the switch left to auto off, the lights still come on even if for a brief second. Seems like a lot of unnecessary ware and tare on the ballast. I’ve been turning the switch to the parking lights position until I exit the garage.

Glanced over to it as I drove away in my rental Impala.

Rented a car out of Ontario yesterday to drive out to Phoenix for business.

Ended up leaving the pickup truck at the airport instead of the Camaro like I typically do...

So this morning I had to drive the rental back to ONT airport and pickup the truck... but had no time to go back home to hop on the Camaro to drive it to work.

Since I got it almost a decade ago, this is only the 2nd Friday I've not driven it to work (barring days off and holidays, of course)...

I feel nekkid lol

At 36,000+ miles, made an appointment at the dealer for 1) Mobil 1 oil change with 48% remaining oil life, 2) transmission fluid and filter change and 3) differential fluid change.

Considering a drive from New Hampshire to Nashville and wanted everything to be fresh! :-)

Drove to San Diego yesterday, and back to Tucson today. Christine got to see the ocean for the first time. She did great, the lower stance drove so nice through the mountain turns, and I was able to get 500 miles out of a tank of 87 gas. No too bad considering the speed i was doing. ("which was the posted speed limit" just in case any of my LEO friends are reading this)

Haha, nice... but you took the Camaro! Your ride was a lot more fun than mine I reckon... although that 12k miles Impala was no slouch (not sure what year it was)! Its a very comfortable ride that isn't under-powered by any means.

I don't take the Camaro on long trips as often as I used to... the mileage has me think twice sometimes (159.5k)... Its running strong, with no unusual noises... tho if something breaks, always a good excuse to upgrade!

Yep, its a straight shot from the IE to PHX on I10... I'll tell you what, there's nothing like that sunrise across the CA/AZ deserts. Just gorgeous scenery.

Took this one a few trips back when I DID take the Camaro...

I put "Super Sport" stainless script under the Camaro emblems on my SS.
This pic here is just an emblem held on with scotch tape so I could make sure I would like it before making it permanent. I think it looks pretty damn cool but may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Danial, I like when people custom their car their way. It really doesn't matter what other people think. I'm a firm believer that our cars express our individual style. I mean think about it: Ricers have their style, LowRiders have their style.

Personally, i like the Super Sport script.
